Physician Bio
Dr. Berkowitz completed his orthopedic residency at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and his fellowship training at the world renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California.
He is board certified by both the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He also maintains membership in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and several state and local medical and orthopedic associations.
Dr. Berkowitz performs hundreds of total hip and knee replacement procedures every year, including mini-incision and computer-guided procedures which can reduce hospital stays, shorten recovery time and offer less trauma and pain for patients.
