Jeffrey B. Cantor, M.D., an orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-
trained in spine surgery, specializes in the surgical treatment
of the neck and back. Dr. Cantor is in private practice with
the South Florida Spine Clinic, an integrated
multi-disciplinary practice that combines patient education and
rehabilitation with advanced diagnostic and surgical techniques
for problems of the neck and back.

Born in Liberty,
New York, Dr. Cantor
received his medical
degree from the
University of Medicine
and Dentistry of New
Jersey, The New Jersey
School of Newark,
Newark, New Jersey. He
completed an internship
in general surgery at
Jackson Memorial
Hospital, University
of Miami School of
Medicine in Miami,
Florida, and a residency
in orthopaedic surgery,
also at Jackson Memorial
Hospital, University
of Miami School of
Medicine.
Following his
residency, Dr. Cantor
completed a fellowship
in spine surgery at
William Beaumont
Hospital in Royal Oak,
Michigan.
Dr. Cantor is a
Diplomate of the
American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery
and a Fellow of the
American Academy of
Orthopaedic Surgeons
and the American
College of Surgeons.
He is a member of the
Arthritis Foundation
Medical Advisory Panel,
Florida Orthopaedic
Society, Broward County
Medical Association and
Fort Lauderdale Surgical
Society, among others.
Lecturing in the
community and to
medical professionals,
Dr. Cantor has given
talks on a variety of
topics, such as back injuries, spinal stenosis
and spine surgery and
special interest on
cervical reconstruction
surgery.
Dr. Cantor is on the
advisory boards for
the design of surgical
implants and the design
of minimally invasive
spine procedures for
Depuy, Nuvasive,
Medtronic and Stryker
Spine.
Dr. Cantor and Dr.
Blumberg are the owners
of the Surgical Training
Facility located at the
South Florida Spine
Clinic. Physicians come
from all over the world
to learn spinal surgery
procedures ranging from
minimally invasive to
complex reconstruction
surgery.
